Medical Peel

Time cannot be stopped nor reversed and the human body is exposed to numerous external factors, unfavorable to the health of the skin, but we can deal with this problem perfectly. One of the most popular methods of prolonging youthful skin and ensuring its natural regeneration is a medical peeling. Medical peels are a procedure based on exfoliation of dead epidermis and speeding up the cell renewal while revealing smoother and radiant skin.

WHAT IS A MEDICAL PEEL?Ā
The effect of medical peels is not limited to exfoliating the epidermis, because it has a wide range of indications. Depending on the chemical composition, concentration and the substance used, we can achieve different effects on the skin. The most commonly used preparations in chemical peels are hydroxy acids. AHA (Ī±-hydroxy acids), BHA (Ī²-hydroxy acids) and PHA (polyhydroxy acids) can be mentioned here. Depending on the effect of acids on the skin, we can distinguish superficial acids - which work only on the surface of the epidermis, medium-deep ones - which reach the dermis, and deep ones - penetrating the reticular layer of the skin.

Regardless of the selected type of acids, the effect will always be tissue renewal, meaning the destruction, elimination and regeneration of the skin, which in turn allows for a fresh and rested skin effect. Treatments with the use of acids are always accompanied by controlled inflammation.

HOW IS THE TREATMENT PERFORMED?
The medical peel is applied to the face skin by a cosmetologist. Depending on the type of peeling and the chemical substance used, the treatment time may vary. The specialist selects the type of peeling individually to the needs of the skin on the basis of a prior consultation. After the specified time of application, the peeling is neutralized and soothing substances are applied.

Ā
