Mesotherapy

An aesthetic medicine treatment invented by Dr. Michel Pistor. Involves injections of medical substances directly into every layer of the skin. Michel Pistor performed clinical research and founded the field of mesotherapy. Mesotherapy treatments have been performed throughout Europe, South America, and more recently the United States for over fifty years. For many years, it has been invariably one of the most popular and most frequently chosen aesthetic medicine treatments because of its benefits and this is well-deserved fame.

Mesotherapy is a very effective way to rejuvenate and regenerate the skin. As the name suggests, it involves revitalization and regeneration of the skin from the inside.

WHAT IS MESOTHERAPY?
Mesotherapy is widely used in aesthetic medicine and is used to reduce wrinkles and stretch marks, improve skin hydration and texture. Mesotherapy also helps prevent and treat alopecia and scalp diseases. A series of mesotherapy treatments involving the injection of active substances into the skin is also an excellent alternative to surgical procedures that require longer convalescence.

The preparations injected into the skin are mixtures of active ingredients adapted to a specific clinical problem. Most often we use a mixture of vitamins, amino acids, organic silica, microelements, hyaluronic acid, peptides and plant extracts.

**Needle mesotherapy is also used in the fight against hair loss, so it is an effective method in the treatment of all types of non-scarring alopecia. Read More

WHAT ARE THE TYPES OF MESOTHERAPY?
Needle Mesotherapy involves injections of vitamins and natural ingredients directly into the dermis. May be performed manually or using mesotherapy gun.
Microneedle Mesotherapy uses a device called dermapen with micro needles that create micro funnels in the skin to treat various conditions. The treatment is safe, quick and effective. Microneedle mesotherapy stimulates skin cells to proliferate. This cell multiplication results in the formation of new tissue layers of elastin and collagen fibers as well as in new capillaries for an improved blood supply.

WHEN TO CONSIDER MESOTHERAPY TREATMENT?
It is an ideal treatment for everyone who want to restore their skin to a youthful appearance. The perfect candidates to perform mesotherapy treatments are people looking for skin hydration. It is one of the best treatments for smoothing or reducing wrinkles, stretch marks or scar removal and an excellent cellulite remedy. Needle mesotherapy is also used to treat the skin around the eyes.

It is highly recommended to combine mesotherapy with other treatments, eg. medical peels.

DOES THE TREATMENT HURT?
The punctures are not very painful. To minimize any pain during the treatment, local anesthesia in a cream is used. After the treatment, a massage is applied, thanks to which the ingredients injected into the skin are evenly distributed.
Injections are made with a syringe with a very thin needle every 0.5-1.5 cm.

After the treatment, there are traces on the skin in the form of spots or a grid - depending on the treatment technique. Post-treatment traces may remain visible depending on the type of preparation administered - from 6 to 72 hours.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF MESOTHERAPY?
Many patients decide to undergo needle mesotherapy treatment to treat wrinkles. Thanks to the stimulation of cell metabolism and the synthesis of collagen and elastin, the treatment leads to the reduction of wrinkles or their shallowing. The skin regains its elasticity and firmness. The treatment rebuilds collagen in a short time.

Hyaluronic acid, the main ingredient used in mesotherapy, fills the space between collagen fibers and draws water, thanks to which the skin is optimally moisturized. Thanks to better vascularization, the skin is better oxygenated, brighter and healthier.

In addition to the hydrating, revitalizing and regenerating effects of the products, the skin puncture itself is also beneficial:

  • Improves the metabolism of skin cells
  • Stimulates fibroblasts to produce collagen and elastin
  • Formates new blood vessels
  • Improves microcirculation
  • Stimulates skin regeneration - replacement with new cells
  • Inhibites the formation of harmful free radicals
  • Proper skin nutrition

All these aspects constitute an advantage of needle mesotherapy over so-called needleless mesotherapy.

CELLULITE REDUCTION

Cellulite affects the majority of women and is an unacceptable cosmetic defect. Therefore, effective methods for cellulite reduction are being sought. Mesotherapy is one of the most effective methods available today.

Mesotherapy is an excellent treatment to firm, tone and slim different parts of the body. It is also used to help reduce cellulite, to promote weight loss and to treat stretch marks.

In mesotherapy, we inject medicated cocktails directly into the areas of cellulite, and hence we can be highly selective in the areas to be treated. The result is even, smooth skin and a dramatic reduction in cellulite in the most natural way.

When injected in problem areas in the body, our formula prevents cells from storing fat by increasing local metabolic rate, resulting in breaking down existing fat cells. The body injections target localised fat and cellulite.

Most patients tolerate body mesotherapy well, even without an anaesthetic cream. However, you can have a local anaesthetic before the procedure if you choose so.
